[ 2 - example ]

When localizing a web site, the main texts as well as all graphic elements have to be translated acurately. This task involves carefully balancing semantic against aesthetic and layout needs. Not only does the correct terminology have to be used, but it is vital that the translated words or phrases fit into the pre-existing templates and graphical elements. The following example illustrates how design and translation should be viewed as a whole, rather than as two separate projects.
